Welcome to PocketTally. This Privacy Policy explains how WESCON CONSTRUCTION (PRIVATE) LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the PocketTally mobile application ("the App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy. PocketTally is designed as a privacy-first application that operates primarily offline to ensure your financial data remains under your control.

Information We Collect

Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

Financial Data: Any bill amounts, discount values, or member counts you enter into the App are stored locally on your device in a private database (Android Room). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.

Device Information: We do not collect specific device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.

App Permissions

PocketTally is designed to require minimal permissions. Based on its current implementation, the App does not require access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.

How Information Is Used

The information you enter into the App is used exclusively for:

• Calculating bill splits and discounts.
• Maintaining a local history of your past calculations for your own review.
• Generating local statistics (Average share, total billed) displayed within the App.

Third-Party Services

PocketTally does not use third-party SDKs that collect your data. Specifically:

• Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any other tracking tools.
• Advertising: The App is ad-free and does not include AdMob or other advertising networks.
• Cloud Services: We do not use Firebase Auth, Firestore, or any cloud storage services.

Data Retention & Security

All data is stored locally on your device's internal storage. It remains there until you choose to delete it using the "Erase All History" feature in the App settings or by uninstalling the App.

Because we do not collect your data, we cannot "secure" it on our servers. The security of your data depends on the physical security of your device and your device's operating system security features.

Children's Privacy

Our App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, we are fully compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
